IMG_0045Young people think that museums are boring. This experiment is motivated by designing ways of museum communication that uses the media that young people integrate in their everyday life. Personal and mobile media like the mobile telephone is interesting because it adresses the existing media use of young people. This experiment collaborated with youth aged 11 -14, and focused on how mobile phones could be integrated in the museum guided tour as a tool for reflection, and also on how an online site for sharing produced material during museum visits opens for museum communication in in new ways.
